The Ignominious Hate has earned his title of most hateful thing in the universe, possibly because he's a manifestation of all the hate in the entire world -- and that's more than enough to go around. As a result, this shadow-form demon is quite vocal (and violent) in his hatred of all the world's... things. In fact, there's so much hate in the world that the Ignominious Hate hates EVERYTHING. He hates you, he hates your family, he hates your house, your car, your dog, your dog's breath, the smell of flowers, the concept of bliss, Planck's constant, this webpage, little adorable kittens, swimming pools, movie stars, God, Satan, and every hateful thing inbetween.

HISTORY: The Hate was sketched out in a session during which I simply sat down and forced myself to think of an idea for a comic. He was "The ______ Hate" for a long time. I wanted to find a good word to describe him, and finally, I found one. The first drawing of The Ignominious Hate had him as a very different-looking, eyebrow-having poetic/melodramatic killer rather than simply a hater of all things, but I'm quite pleased with how he's evolved since.
